Summer events at Castelfalfi
Castelfalfi rises in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by an enchanting landscape of vineyards and olive groves. This marvelous environment encloses Castelfalfi Agricultural Estate, that represents an ancient idea of indissoluble coexistence between nature and agriculture, tradition and innovation, passion and experience.
During the summer season, in the magical atmosphere of its Wine Shop & Garden, the estate will host two amazing events to discover its organic products through two suggestive experiences to live outdoors.
It begins on July 21th and 22th, for the second edition of the event Vino su Tela, with a workshop of wine painting on canvas held by Elisabetta Rogai, a local artist of international fame. The two evenings, accompanied by a guided tasting of our wines and live music, will take place from 9 pm. The painter will try her hand at explaining the painting technique she patented and will follow this exhilarating workshop guiding you in the graphic representation of a landscape of Castelfalfi. Our Wine Garden will be set up with 15 emplacements that provide everything you need to paint, from easels to brushes, from stool to the glass of wine, to welcome many curious amateur painters and wine and art lovers. Thanks to the artist’s technique that allows the wine to become "immortal", in addition to enjoying it during the event you will also use our wine Poggionero to paint your canvas. If you want, you can take home this small work of art to keep forever a pleasant memory of the evening spent in Castelfalfi.
On August 4th and 5th, during the month of the stars, we will welcome the Gruppo Astrofili Montelupo for two evenings to discover the unpolluted sky of Castelfalfi. Astronomers and scientists will be dedicated to you, illustrating the secrets of the universe and guiding you in the observation of stars and planets through a professional telescope. The event Vino e Stelle, which will take place again in the evocative atmosphere of the Wine Garden of our estate, will be accompanied by the guided tasting of the Castelfalfi wines that you can enjoy on the comfortable ground cushions to admire the stars even with the naked eye. Away from light sources and noise, you’ll need to lean your eye to the telescope and let it guide you through space exploration. Live the experience of stargazing immersed in a truly evocative location!
